Where Creativity
Meets Sweetness
Welcome to Karen's Studio & Sweets
Karen has been creating and selling jewelry for over 30 years, designing pieces that celebrate individuality rather than mass production. Each item in the collection is thoughtfully assembled using quality materials, including handcrafted beads created by artisans from around the world.
Many pieces feature lampwork glass beads, a highly sought-after form of handmade glass art, along with pewter ear wires and silver or silver-plated pins that are nickel-free for comfort and sensitivity.
This is not a big box store.
Every piece you see here is curated, crafted, and assembled with care.
What Makes Karen's
Jewelry Different

Curated Materials
Karen works with handcrafted beads made by skilled artists, including glass beads sourced from Germany and unique lampwork beads created through traditional glass making techniques.
Handmade & One of a Kind
Karen handcrafts each piece of jewelry. No mass production. Each piece is thoughtfully assembled, making every item feel personal and distinctive.
Designed for Sensitive Ears
All jewelry uses nickel-free materials, with pewter ear wires and silver or silver-plated pins. Sterling silver upgrades are available upon request. Earrings can be put on a Huggies (wrap-around style) earring or a post at an additional cost. Just ask!
About Karen
Creativity, Advocacy, and Authenticity
Karen’s creative journey began long before Karen’s Studio & Sweets was formed.
While raising her family, she began designing jewelry as a creative outlet. With a background as an art major with a focus in art therapy, creativity became a way for her to express ideas, restore balance, and experience the calming benefits of working with her hands.
Over time, her jewelry became something more than a creative practice — it became a way to connect with people.
